Collectors,
I rarely write Market Reports because honestly,
the whole thing puts me to sleep, but when I do, it's because I have
something important to say!
We are experiencing one of the
greatest BUYER'S MARKET'S EVER. The brief slowdown to the
marketplace between late summer 2002, and early 2003 is finally
over, with sales just beginning to become brisk once again.
No matter how hard they may have tried, those who attempted
to pilfer the comic book marketplace have FAILED, because myself,
and many other important people in the industry, those who truly
love this hobby, will be around for a long time to protect it!
But a temporary slow-down of the market, aside from
resulting in some great buys for collectors and dealers alike, will
also serve to eradicate many "FLY BY NIGHTER'S" that have come into
this genre, not because of their love for the hobby, but for their
love of the ALL MIGHTY BUCK! These losers, will SELL OUT, and move
on to another collectible they will attempt to pilfer, because they
lack the respect and experience to succeed here, in the comic book
genre!
